About
I was born and raised in Ishikawa, a region in Japan known for its deep-rooted craftsmanship.
One of its most famous traditions is gold leaf—so renowned that it’s even used to decorate Kyoto’s Golden Pavilion, Kinkaku-ji.

Growing up, I was constantly surrounded by beauty—traditional arts, timeless history, and a quiet reverence for detail. But I wasn’t just drawn to the classics. I also loved anime, quirky collectibles, and the rich world of Japanese subculture.

After moving to Tokyo for work, I settled in Nakano—a vibrant hub for otaku culture, second only to Akihabara.
There, something shifted.
(Nakano Broadway is a commercial facility where Japanese subculture is concentrated. There are many foreign tourists, and if you like Japan, you will surely find your favorite items.)

I started meeting travelers, chatting with foreigners at local bars, and visiting other countries. I began to see my culture through new eyes—and realized how deeply Japanese traditions, stories, and craftsmanship resonated with people around the world.

That’s why I started this store.
It’s not just about selling items—it’s about sharing the culture I grew up with, the things I love, and the stories that shaped me.
If even one item sparks a sense of wonder, nostalgia, or connection, then I know I’ve done something meaningful.
